• Cargo pants have always been the most frequently worn item in my personal wardrobe. Since I first got into street culture over a decade ago, cargo pants have been the core of my daily outfits—no matter what top I pair them with, a good pair of cargo pants can hold the entire look together. This balance of practicality and style is what I have always pursued.
• Most cargo pants on the market tend to emphasize a military or workwear vibe, but when worn, they often feel too bulky or have awkward proportions. This is especially true for the body shape of Hong Kong people, where pants that are too long or too narrow are common issues. What I wanted to create was a pair of cargo pants truly suited for local streetwear—loose but not sloppy, wide but well-proportioned, with large pockets that aren’t cumbersome.
• The US023 uses the classic curved knife pant pattern as its base, but a lot of time was spent adjusting the length and proportions, repeatedly refining it based on the body shape of Hong Kong men. The final shorter proportions look sharp and neat when worn, unlike the dragging feel often seen in European and American brands.
• For the fabric, I insisted on using heavy 355 GSM pure cotton, combined with professional enzyme washing. Enzyme washing is not just for a vintage look—it gives the fabric a soft, natural feel as if it has been worn hundreds of times from day one. At the same time, pre-shrinking ensures size stability, so the pants won’t shrink or deform after washing. The washed grey color is exactly the result of the enzyme wash process transforming the thick cotton into a textured lime tone. Each pair has slightly different wash patterns, which is the unique character of handmade treatment.
• The position and proportion of the cargo pockets were also carefully considered—too high makes the legs look short, too low affects walking. The final position lets the pockets naturally hang on the outer thigh, making it convenient and practical for everyday items like phones and wallets. I added a handwritten signature-style embroidery on the pocket flap purely as a personal expression, with no other meaning.
• The original intention of these pants was to solve a problem for myself: to make a pair of cargo pants I want to wear every day. If you also believe a good pair of cargo pants should be comfortable, easy to wear, textured, and understated, perhaps the US023 will become the most frequently worn item in your wardrobe.

• Size S is designed specifically for the female figure, offering a tailored fit that highlights elegant curves, suitable for women seeking a unisex fashion style.
• For men, size M is recommended as the smallest reference size to ensure a comfortably loose trendy fit that balances comfort and style.
• The cut is designed as mid to low waist; when measuring, it is recommended to refer to the hip bone position.
